The World Championships of Systems Architecture and Modeling provides a unique opportunity for individuals and teams to exhibit their skills and creativity in designing and constructing a systems solution for a real-world problem.
The 2023 Challenge
A Systems Architecture and Modeling Challenge – Recap of the First Annual World Championships
The first-ever World Championships of Systems Architecture and Modeling was held June 5 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Participants competed head-to-head with the world’s best systems modelers using the model-based systems engineering tool of their preference to develop a response to a real-world engineering problem.
The event provided individuals and teams a chance to exhibit their skills, creativity, and ability to thrive under time constraints.
Learn about the problem statement: developing a long-term systems solution to the city of Mesa Cerveza’s water and power supply problems. Hear from the individual winner and a judge and learn what it was like to participate.
